5 WEEK COURSE
The 5-week introductory course to the Wim Hof Method is intended for anyone who wants to get a closer look at this health method that is rapidly spreading throughout the world, based on the confirmed results of medical research, feedback from people who have tested the method and actively practice it, and the many years of experience of the creator of the Method himself, who is better known as the Ice Man.
Each week you will get to know a different theoretical and practical part of the Method. A detailed practice plan prepared in advance will await you, following which you will be able to feel the early positive effects of the method on a physical, mental and spiritual level after just a few days.
The course is held ONLINE or LIVE.
This will not be just a dry exposition of the theoretical or practical part of the Method. The participant who wants to get the maximum benefit will be actively involved in the practices, will receive a personally balanced plan of practices, taking into account the current state of health, diseases, physical capacity, endurance and needs.
The purpose of the course is to prepare each participant for SAFE personal practice, to familiarize them with the red lines that should not be crossed in order to practice the method safely and effectively and to get the maximum benefit.
The Method is not focused on results, achievements, progress and raising the Ego. The creator of the method, Wim Hof himself, has said that anyone can do what he did, according to him, it's nothing special. (including more than twenty Guinness records) He only showed that most of the limits in life do not exist outside, but inside, i.e. in our minds.
Each seminar will consist of 3 parts:
1. Theoretical part (up to 30 min.)
2. Practical part (30-60 min.)
3. Discussion (5-15 min.)
1 week: Theory: history of WHM, 3 main pillars and principles of the Method. Hormetic stress. Practice: Easy warm-up, basic Wim Hof Method breathing protocol. Relaxation practice. Discussion: Course discussion, personal goals, questions-answers.
Week 2: Theory: Anatomy and physiology of respiration. Practice: Warm-up, WHM breathing. Relaxation practice. Discussion: Discussion of cold and breathing practice for the coming week.
Week 3: Theory: Physiology of cold, the effect of continuous hardening on the body and the immune system. Practice: Warm-up, WHM breathing, cold practice. Discussion: Discussion of cold and breathing practice for the coming week.
Week 4: Theory: Basics of meditation. Will. Motivation. The influence of WHM in managing the mind and emotions, focusing attention. Practice: WHM breathing, Theta Meditation, relaxation. Discussion: Discussion of cold and breathing practice for the coming week.
Week 5: Theory: Habits, their development, giving up bad habits. Creating and nurturing your own practice. Practice: Warm-up, WHM breathing, relaxation, meditation. Discussion: Course discussion, sharing, closing remarks.
